The past week I had to draw a lion for a client. She wanted him very ferocious, but I couldn’t draw it like that. He looked very kind, like your little lion!

I really like this one! It reminds me of a story i once started but never finished about the lion who couldn’t spel! It’s lovely, but they all are.

Dave, I really love your illustrations – they’re wonderful! You asked about what medium I use – at the moment I mostly use watercolour pencils (I love them – they remind me of those children’s colouring books where you add water and then these magnificent colours appear) – and a waterproof Pilot pen. Not very sophisticated – but I love using these!
